Suzanne (Suezy) Robertson
Suezy had her first encounter with Bellydance in 1998. She was dancing with a troupe of dancers on Waiheke Island, "Feminine Moves", when the decision was made to bring another dance form into their repertoire. The wonderful Helen Ferris was asked to visit the Island and give a 3 hour dance workshop. Little did Suezy know the impact that workshop would have on her life.
In 1999 Suezy's family left Waiheke and travelled New Zealand in "Red Bus" their home on wheels, for two years. In 2002, the family settled in Glendowie, Auckland. With a home that didn't move every two weeks, Suezy started to search for a dance class to join. She saw an advert for Bellydance classes based in Pakuranga. She phoned Liz Irvine (Fatina) from Art of Bellydance and found what she had been hoping and looking for.
Suezy continued being a student of Liz and teaching for Art of Bellydance, up until 2008, when Liz decided to live in Egypt. Cinch Dance Unlimited is Suezy's hope and vision to continue the wonderful teaching she received at Art of Bellydance. It is Suezy's wish to be the kind of teacher that Liz was. Suezy feels absolutely blessed to have met Liz and to have had her as a teacher and friend.
She has been studying Oriental dance for 7 years.

Melissa Charbonneau
A life-long self-trained dancer, Melissa took the plunge and tried a beginners bellydance class in Spring 2005. It was mad and crazy love at first sight! She was drawn right away to the very rooted and earthy styles of the dance form including Tribal, Gypsy and Ghawazee.
As she has grown and begun to find her own dance feet, Melissa now also finds herself playing with ways to bring her spirituality into her dancing. In this respect she is increasingly influenced by modern dancing, the chakras energy system and the idea of using the body to create sacred shapes. She loves bellydancing around a campfire and enjoys creating different characters, from the saucy to the subtle, through her dance.
